Dental Cleaning
The dentist uses a small mirror to check around your teeth and gums for any signs of inflamed gums(gingivitis) or other concerns.
Plaque or tartar is then removed around the gemlike and in between the teeth. Lastly we apply a fluoride treatment, used as a protectant for the teeth to help fight cavities. Oral Hygiene habits are discussed along with dietary habits.
White Fillings
These are while fillings made from composite. They are white or tooth coloured, which means they blend seamlessly with the rest of your teeth.
Root Canal Treatment
This procedure is used to repair the damaged inside of a tooth. It involves removing the pulp. After the pulp is removed, the space is filled and sealed. This treatment can be done partially (pulpotomy) or completely (pulpectomy).
Fluoride Treatments
Fluoride treatments are typically professional treatments containing a high concentration of fluoride that a dentist or hygienist will apply to a person’s teeth to improve health and reduce the risk of cavities. These in-office treatments may take the form of a solution, gel, foam, or varnish.
There are also some high-concentration fluoride treatments that people can use at home but only under the specific direction of a dentist.
The fluoride dentists use in these treatments is similar to the fluoride in toothpaste. However, the treatment contains much higher doses and may offer more rapid benefits.
Stainless Steel Crowns
They are metal caps designed to cover decayed and damaged in children. Instead of filling a cavity, a crown is placed over the entire tooth to prevent further decay.
Sedation
This procedure is done in a hospital environment. The patient is put into a sleep like state before dental procedure is carried out.
